We've had several developers raise concerns that not all of their SMS and MMS sent by our Messaging API have been received by the end devices, or they have been delayed by several hours. In these cases, the API did not throw an error when sending, and the message status from Telstra was successful.
After investigation, we believe that this is seen on messages sent to Vodafone handsets during their nationwide outage on 9th April 2021.
If you have experienced this issue of some messages not being recieved by your destination mobile, with no errors on TelstraDev's API fault handling, and no unexpected message status. please raise your concern below and we will work to validate this.
