Lost inbound SMS

I've been unable to retrieve inbound SMS from my personal number on my trial account, all responses are 200 EMPTY.

I'm aware that I need to register numbers for outbound SMS as a trial account, but is the same true for inbound SMS?

Hi Jesse,

Are you saying that you registered a (Example: 23456) number for outbound sms but you are sending an inbound sms from your mobile (Example: 23451) to your virtual number?

Hi Jesse.

Thanks for the confirmation.  Yes, you can receive inbound SMS from any number without any issues.  However, after you retrieve the SMS, it won't be available to retrieve second time onwards.  The notifyURL feature helps to avoid this situation.  Please read this blog for more information.
